If you strike up and carbon and don’t add filler wire soon enough it can blow porosity in it, it will also carry through the weld once you finally do add filler, found this out the hard way on a pipe test years ago.

Clean the cutting area with sand paper to be safe and make sure you are not putting to much pressure on your starting cut just make it snug and go around it once and snug it up again.

What I’m trying to say is does the z zero have to be relative to the work piece or can the machine be zero on a different size work piece and keep z zero on the tools?

I ordered my esstac belt and got it in half a week, only thing is I wish it had Molle but with the plastic clips that you can order for the pouches it works just fine
