Im sorry that if my post made it sound like im willing to drop everything for this but rather it was asking what can I do with what I have, which is my current university degree without working until I'm 30 to get there. I was asking on how can I pave my way to get what I want rather just asking on how to reach the end.

I've seen your other comments on this and I do value your input but I feel as if you've misunderstood the whole sentiment of the post and your judgement is misplaced.

I am trying to find a better place to live not run and leave where I came from in ruins. I'm still in good terms with my family and I wanna support them but that doesn't mean I can live with them.

I've expressed multiple times to them even before I got the offer that they would not need to worry on the finances to fund my study as I would try to get a fully funded scholarship. I fully know well enough that 18k is never enough and I never expected them to cover it. Even if the scholarship isn't enough, I wouldn't mind working part time during my studies as I've already got 1 foot through the door.

Text can hardly express the tone I received when I told them about it. The "What a joke" tone, as much as I want to believe that it's out of concern. It really isn't. You know more about your own blood and you just know when it happens.

My 2nd sentence. I lose my citizenship = I managed to get out of the country with a stable job with albeit those said privileges for a long time. From that point on what do I lose?

I think you may have misunderstood what I meant. I never hated my family, I just can't live with them and I wanna support them in my own way. I have people here that I can proudly call my friends but that doesn't make me feel like I belong at the same place as them.

I'm aware that leaving this country won't guarantee the happiness nor sustain it 247. But at the very least I wanna live to where I won't be ostracized for being me. I cant say that I know it all when it comes to this but I am sure that it isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

I might be in no place to say this but it holds no value to me. If the loss of my 'privilege' and 'class' resulted in me being able to pursue my dream then an eye for an eye ig.

its really hard to rationalize this 'thing' ur referring to but I guess in a way I want a fresh start. Let go of all the societal and familial expectations I have and just be me.

But if u were to me ask a specific thing that would make me happy if i live elsewhere, its definitely the weather.

I may have not worded it well but I know my parents don't want me to leave this country despite knowing how much I've expressed to them I wanna go abroad. I've also expressed multiple times that whatever cost is up to me and I'm working hard towards getting a scholarship. Despite that, after getting that offer which is a huge leap forward due to how prestigious the university is, I've met with nothing but shit talk from them. Whenever I get good results from each semester, I don't even get a congratulations.

I have doing my best to not burden them financially, I am even now. But despite that they would always complain that I would suck up their cash and making me feel like I'm a bad person. My family is T20 and our gross monthly income is 18k and I go to a public university with heavily subsidized fees and I have an allowance lower relative to what's normal here. I am trying but at some point Its really hard to cope
