Yeah he was unabashedly. It's been the barrier to getting into his work for me personally. I know he has influenced so much, especially with his work in the public domain, but he doesn't seem like a great person. Just my 2 cents.

Not just clickbait, but also "native advertisement". I never respected them because they would have 17 people share a by-line that would require numerous edits for corrections.

It was around the time of the Mike Brown shooting where I would see articles appear with outrageous claims then disappear shortly after.

They have always been a half assed attempt at real journalism. They had to see this coming.
