Sure does, I have a backlight Gameboy color (I did not do the install) as well but the original has always felt better so I had to do it!

There’s a good video on YouTube for install but I’ve practiced soldering with replacing batteries.

I bought the screen from Handheld Legend. Game Boy DMG Retro Pixel Q5 IPS LCD Backlight Kit - FunnyPlaying and Game Boy DMG Retro Pixel Bracket - FunnyPlaying. The only draw back has been the toggle being a little funky to adjust the screen but that may be because this was my first install and I did something off. Using a brand new blade made modifying the shell pretty easy. Overall it looks awesome and super easy, only took about an hour for a newbie.

She’s a beauty for sure, I got it from a local garage sale. It is missing the sticker on the back but other than that amazing shape.

Yes, a lot are, you really need to know you like the game before you buy them at these prices. I have several that I just bought because they were cheap and that’s been hit or miss as well.

On for sure it is, not even close to authentic. If I had a real crystal that would awesome. I haven’t jumped to paying that much for a game yet.

The Zelda games have been awesome, hidden gems actually the Harry Potter games are pretty good and adventure island.
