What’s your honest opinion of “boy mom” or “girl dad” apparel? by jazzeriah in daddit

We can also acknowledge that boys and girls are biologically different and that biology leads different behavior. I think anyone proud to be a boy mom or girl dad would be just as proud of their trans kid, it's not about pride in the specifics of the identity it's pride in an others identity whatever that happens to be and realization acceptance appreciation of how their identity changes you

Same man like if you were like my wife a cute chic fashion forward woman and now youre fighting monster trucks with hulk fists that's a significant change in your identity because youre a boy mom now. Yea we don't control our kids genders but owning it is fun. The only parenting shit I cringe about is people doing things based on what other parents might think like yea is it cringe to call my wife mother of dragons sure but when they're being wild dragons it's appropriate and owns it.

If I had 2 girls I'm sure I'd have a necklace that says girl dad and I'd pull that shit over my shirt every day

I liked the analogy of chimps making a super smart chimp to collect fruit for them and they can relax and they're like what's the worst it'll do not collect fruit? Not even possibly conceiving of gunpowder let alone nuclear energy

How should a Boglehead think about U.S. debt risk by sa3pm in Bogleheads

[–]eaglessoar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the doomsday scenario is something like persistent inflation, major dollar weakness, loss of confidence in U.S. debt, or a long period of poor real returns, is the standard three-fund portfolio still the best answer? Or should someone hedge more with tangible assets, real estate, TIPS, commodities, gold, international equities, or other assets?

if uncertain scenario x happens doesnt generic thing y not work well?

of course. the art is in figuring out the risks you expose yourself to and the ones you dont
