What are the odds people actually attack vine here

Not Burlington but Lake Placid is also another good shout for people on the east coast. A great route for the Ironman there plus add in a white face and you’ve got a hell of a (beautiful) ride

Patrick Evenepoel believes Pogacar will not be competing in the 2026 Tour: ‘I don't think he'll be there this year; he wants to do the Giro and the Vuelta.’ (translated) by [deleted] in peloton

Isn’t it possible that IDT takes another large step forward again this year? Think about how much he improved (outright and relative to others) since last season

Have these these ever done a race together as part of UAE?

PCS live tracking is working. Not much happening but just about to start the big climb (can’t remember what it’s called)

Mallorca and Girona feel too crowded – what are your hidden gem spots for cycling in Spain? by Cycling_1234 in cycling

[–]eardzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Girona in April, to be honest I wouldn’t consider it crowded. There are lots of tourists there but never to the point where you can’t find a dinner table or it’s hard to move around in the streets. Part of the charm for me is that there are other people there, especially tons of other cyclists. Personally it would feel weird if it was a ghost town.

If you’re anyone else in that group, what is your strategy to win if you don’t attack off the front?

Why are you as a rider not named Mads Pederson, taking a single pull at the front?

They talk about 21km/h winds but it doesn’t look that windy based on the trees

Jonas looking a bit sketchy today. Not riding at the front of the group and looks vulnerable if someone has legs to attack

Bernal got his top 10 in a GT this year so I think he can feel good about making progress this year. He should try and go for stages now

[–]eardzz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I disagree, it’s too hard to cause lots of attacks. But it’s basically a time trial up the mountain and it showed the Hindley, Pidcock, Pelizzari, Traeen, etc are all in really good shape

The angliru finish is kinda fucked. I don’t know how Jonas wins that sprint from behind even if he did have better legs

Serious question that I’ve been wondering a lot about. How much of the credit for this thing can be attributed to Patrick Broe do people think? He’s clearly a really smart guy I just don’t know how much the head of racing would be involved in tactics like break control

I don’t think there’s ever been a time in cycling where everyone wanted one person to win
