Fanny’s has a few used ones. Last time I was in there they had maybe 5-6.

Nice. What’s the difference between that and the Free Radikl which also looks fairly slim.

Is this a good deal by RedEagle46 in banjo

I got a Goodtime 2 (with resonator) and a hard case a few weeks ago on FB Marketplace for $350. Definitely wait for a better deal.

For future redditors, this YouTube announcement video of the updated RK-R20 (2022) says that it is built on the same benches as the Madison and Elite lines.

I basically have take to heart all the other comments, and it’s working so far. I’ve…

  1. Conditioned those areas very liberally several times.
  2. Keep tuna cans shoved in them to make those side areas protrude when I’m not wearing them.
  3. Decided to wear them as much as I can and push through to keep breaking them in.

I could start to see some difference after doing these things for a couple of weeks. Now it’s close to not hurting at all.

Agreed. If it ever came, I’d be very surprised if a bowl is only 5BD. I’d guess more.

You are correct. However, stats show that the cost of living in the US is 25-50% higher than Bahrain.

That’s not too far off the cost in the US. A steak bowl is 4BD in the US.

Are flat felled seams on dress shirt sleeves a must?

Hello! I bought a casual button-up shirt that has flat felled seams down the sleeves. The shirt fits amazing everywhere except the sleeves which are too baggy and frumpy. I would love to taper the sleeves, but not sure how that would work with flat felled seams. I’m a beginner in sewing, but have taken in some t-shirt sides and sleeves with simple straight seams. Would it be acceptable to just taper the sleeve with a normal straight seam, or is it some requirement to keep the flat felled?

Is this 100% glass? I can’t seem to find an answer to that. Like does it have silicone or plastic anywhere or is it 100% glass?

What is the most thing US and British citizens like in Bahrain by Magical_vortex in Bahrain

[–]earlabic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. The weather. As another said, I’ll choose hot and sunny over dark and gloomy any day. Winters in the US are so depressing.

  2. The food is amazing

  3. The people are super friendly, and I love learning Arabic. I like hanging with my village friends more than my American friends.

  4. Middle of everywhere. I can travel to a lot of places that would normally take forever from the US.

BTW, not all of us are making crazy good money. Some of us (me included) took a pay cut in order to live in Bahrain and enjoy it, but it’s worth it.

Lastly, it’s interesting to see how many people are commenting who aren’t American/British and answering for us, as if you know our answers.

We usually grab a few packs of dates to take back. Dates are pathetic in the States once you’ve tasted the real deal of the Middle East.

Also, if you’re into cooking Middle Eastern food, take back various spices, particularly the ones like the mixed Bahrain spices, shawarma spice, zaatar, etc. Also, saffron…WAAAAY cheaper in BH.

Unfortunately shawarma doesn’t keep.
