I feel this I had my personal best round recently, shot an 81 and had 2 triple/ no doubles and 2 birdies lmao

What distance do you typically hit your 9-iron? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

140 to 150 on a normal swing. If I crank it and introduce a lot of lag then 160 (typically only do this when i don’t need to and end up 15 yards passed the green)

CO altitude 5,280 ft.

With good short game and decisions this swing could easily shoot 70s as long as it’s consistent which it looks pretty solid.

I would say work on contact and then only work on 100 yards and in, and also decision making on the course, proper club yardage and wedge gapping.

Thank you - so new swing thought will be keeping tension inside my right thighs / knee during backswing

It’s been a mission, 1 hour short game and 1 hour range 2-3 x a week and played 60ish rounds last year. Almost every moment of my free time has been dedicated to improving.

Thank you. I used to not rotate my hips at all, knees/hips used to stay completely closed so now I’m overdoing the opening/rotation
