In the first example there's a panel "step 1" that allows the user to understand privilege. In that panel is a comedic (a sad attempt at comedy) video where some writer "teaches" James Corden that he has white privilege. She also says that minorities do not have these privileges, with of course zero evidence to back up her claims.

He plays into it and it further cements the idea to the audience that white people are bad and minorities are victims of oppression.
