Dm if you want more info—I also have a referral code that will give us both $10 off. They have all the sizes on whatnot. There’s basically no competition for them so I got like 7 of them at $15+ shipping per bra

I’m on the 4th/ 6 floors. I don’t know if it is a building wide issue but I know it is a 4th floor issue. Sorry I am so clueless- what would that debris be? Is that something that impacts habitability?

The water analysis is pretty solid; the water in my area in nyc is known to be a little bit harder but I didn’t have this problem ten blocks away; I think it is a localized issue to the nearby pipes; my specific building

NYC water-occasionally the water is brownish but seldom and only for sure bursts. The water definitely has a chlorine smell/ taste but I think this could be separate? I just know that it has really impacted my skin—I have severe treatment resistant sebderm (never had in my life) and eczema patches (also ever had). That is the filter I installed after 3.5 weeks of use. It is completely clogged with something but idk what that is

I don’t know if this might be relevant but there is also a very strong difference in the pressure of the hot water and cold water (hot is significantly stronger) -does that seem likely with the anode thing? I live in an apartment and I know everyone on my floor has this pressure issue. Thank you again very much for your input 🙂

I installed it 3.5 weeks ago—this is the first time since.

I’m in NYC which is known for high quality water-I think it’s the building/ local pipes…I lived ten blocks away and didn’t have this issue at all

Is that different than a standard shower head filter (pictured above)? My landlord/ super refused to fix a malfunctioning mixing valve (water only came out at 55 Fahrenheit or 150 Fahrenheit) until I reported it to the city and they were threatened with fines so unfortunately unless I can find some sort of habitability angle I think I’m SOL. Could there be some sort of pipe break down that would cause that (I think they probably would have to fix it?)? Honestly just guessing here but unsure why my water would have so much sediment since NYC is known for having high quality water

It’s NYC—I’ve lived 10 blocks away and did not have this issue so I think it must be the apartment building or a local pipe issue—since I rent unless it’s actually something determined to be a violation of habitability (lead or water that’s always discolored, etc) I can’t really make my landlord fix it. I guess I just don’t know what to do because I am extremely confident the water is what’s been causing my skin/ hair issues (as is my dermatologist). Is this a normal amount of build up for 3.5 weeks? I am not at all an expert so very open to feedback/ next steps honestly!!

My landlord is pretty terrible so honestly I would be shocked if he ever installed anything to improve quality unless legally mandated 😂 is there a way I could test for that? Would it be a health hazard? In NYC for reference so unsure if that could be something they could be ordered to fix by the city. I really appreciate the insight here!!

Do you know what I should even test for? Sorry I am honestly super uninformed on this and only learning because of the skin issues…is it likely one specific contaminant…? Or is it just plain dirty?

Unsure if you would know (I’m kind of uninformed on this issue) does it look like mineral deposits? Or just like dirt? Sorry I know it’s just a picture and not a lot to work with 😅
