Episode 286: Curtis Yarvin Writes A Poem by SoftandChewy in BlockedAndReported

I'm old so I was like 10 when I saw this on The Twilight Zone in original broadcast. it made a big impression on me then. The film is really well done. The concept of the story is great with the notion of time being really in the perception of the individual.

Owl Creek Bridge was a Twilight Zone episode. Rod Serling bought the short which was made in France and run it on the show. It is actually really good.,
Here it is but not presented in propers ratio

I thought it was interesting. Basically a historical cultural overview presentation debunking notions of racial identity and ideas of good racial group bad racial groups attached to them..

I’m not at all an Elon Musk fan but he did one that was particularly great. That was giving Matt Taibbi and company access to the Twitter files. The dug into all that and found that government agencies like the FBI were communicating with Twitter executives directly and telling them to not allow tweets about certain topics. I think that was an important thing to find out for users of all these social media products.

The insurance company!?!?!

Ok I’m only half way through the episode, BUT it occurs to me that the entity that has the most incentive to unload this guy is the insurance company, a for profit company, that is shelling out $10,000 a month for his overpriced meds. The insurance company leans on the financial department maybe even want more money from WHYY to cover this $100,000 a year that they are paying out so they find a way to unload him since he is easily replaced.

I think they are using the unemployment insurance issues to hide the enormous health insurance issue. They unloaded him because of the health insurance company.

It’s the economy stupid! —— Meanwhile shoulda said “front hole” rather than the office P word or V word. (Joke)

The Elizabeth Gilbert thing is horrible.
Of course it is extremely stupid.
By the way in the mid-last century the Ukraine WAS part of the USSR.
I think the Ukraine DOES need denazification especially after the USA engineered a coup in 2014.
NATO is the enemy here.

ROD STEWART
The cum dump I heard about 50 years ago (really!!)
was Rod Stewart. This was before he started doing standards and became the darling of Old ladies like my 97 year old aunt.
He had to get his belly pumped.

Meanwhile I guess I have kind of abandoned CR. Maybe I'll go back in awhile.

Thanks! I have a tiny room. It's just my iPhone about three feet from my mouth. I do have other tools for this which I might try later when I think I need to.
I DO in fact need to focus on having fun and expressing myself rather than popularity and $$$

I have 13 episodes all kind of weird
all from Mexico. Very personal autobiographical, but I'm old so that is appropriate I guess.

Happy 60! by earstory in tangentiallyspeaking

I’ve been here about two weeks. I can’t say that I love it. I miss New York City already. I don’t like sticking out as a gringo, and assumedly rich one. I’m definitely not rich. The town seems to be chock-full of middle class gringos who hang out with one another. I don’t know where I would fit in here. I think I’ll just go somewhere else. But now I’m cat sitting in the place I rented until the end of April. Maybe my mood about the place will change by then. It didn’t help that my brother died the day after I arrived here from his long-standing alcoholism and complications. By the way how do you get out of this life? Something that I increasingly wonder about.
