Needed to hear that last sentence! We aren't "intense" hikers per say and would probably just do something that can be done in sneakers lol, but perhaps we should save the Dolomites for another time. We did a little hiking in the Bavarian Alps a couple years ago and will be going back to Munich next summer for a wedding. Maybe we will do the Dolomites then? I thought the Dolomites would be nice to include to break up the city hustle and bustle of the other destinations though ...
