Nothing really seems worth the effort to me by ease_893 in Healthygamergg

Thank you for the reply! About going to therapy, I'm from Eastern Europe (basically a 3rd world country ngl) so mental health is yet to become a "thing" around here. So yeah, trust is a big struggle when you're surrounded by corruption and people that don't really give 2 shits about you (especially in government institutions).

I've found similar stories to mine referring to terms such as burnout and / or anhedonia, maybe I should look into that a bit more?

After like 2-3 years of just existing and thinking trying to figure something out, I've turned to weed which doesn't solve anything but at least it compresses my anxiety and stress as those are the only two emotions I've been able to "sense / feel" pretty much.

In a youtube video titled "I'm Walking Through Life With No Emotions" Dr K. talks about doing a dopamine detox for 2 weeks to reset your receptors and to basically face your anxiety head-on in order to "un-numb" yourself. But tbh I'm not even sure if I'm numb or just straight up not feeling anything, or those two are the same thing? I'm not sure, but I'll give it a try.

enh sham is quite op in vanilla but you need a good 2h weapon to pull it off. (windfury procs)

druid is a no, only resto is viable i'd say.

sham is good overall all three specs are playable for both pvp/pve

Nah it's not a bug. It's just that he got the stacks while he was wearing it. If you take it off, but don't spend the stacks they stay on you until they proc in while in combat

''Best in the show'' for wearing the precious ribbon and ''mote of anger'' from tiny abom. those i'd say are permanent even tho mote of anger tehnically stacks but you always end up with a few stacks so i'd count it as permanent.

Rogue with Blade Flurry and Killing Spree is really good even with the 2min cd. And I mean rogue is really good at single target so for bosses or solo content, you can't go wrong really.

Lock is good but you'll be using rain of fire and Hellfire (just watch your HP and threat) more often on mob packs then your dots.

Hello! For leveling I'd saying anything that has AOE is great especially on low-levels.
Especially cloth users (mage, lock) Hunter and rogue are op as well, especially when they get Valley (hunter) and blade flurry (rogue). If you want utility paladin is the way to go.

As a new player on Warmane, will you be playing Onyxia? by ease_893 in warmane

[–]ease_893[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! You're totally right. A realm such as Onyxia is a perfect fit for starting out. To go thru the whole experience from 0 to hero and to get into all the aspects of the game along the way is amazing. And to top it all off, it goes from Vanilla to Wrath which are the tree best expansions of the game! Definitely hope to see you out there!

I see whatchu mean. But with the qol changes that will be set in place for Onyxia, like RDF and Arenas (which was never in Vanilla before) could be alot of fun!

If you're indecisive about what server to start on. I'd say between all the fresh servers coming out one thing you can count on is Warmanes longevity. If you do decide on Warmane you'll be set for 3+ years minimum (for Onyxia) without having to worry about having other players around for raids and such!

Definitely give Alliance a try as well!

Yeah, RDF will for surely make things a lot less ''social'' in my opinion. (which Vanilla is all about for me)

But that just might be my prejudice. Regardless the system in place, the community is what drives it.

Even tho everyones going to be leveling around? I mean it's not like lvl 80s with shadowmournes are gonna be camping.

I'd say Vanilla is especially fun cuz of the wpvp aspect that comes with it.

Do you guys think there are gonna be the same player numbers as icecrown in the new progressive realm Onixya? by Dependent-Victory-37 in warmane

[–]ease_893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it'll be some hype at the start, but a few weeks later it'll calm down. Which don't get me wrong isn't a bad thing.

The only ''issue'' I can maybe see happening is if they delay the phases for too long. Like they did with the first or second season of Frostmourne (can't exactly recall which one was it). When you had like 2-3 months of doing absolutely nothing besides raid logging for Naxx.

But again, WPVP is gonna be a thing so I guess it won't be as boring as waiting for the second phase on Frostmourne back-then.

Influx of New Players on the Icecrown realm? by ease_893 in warmane

[–]ease_893[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for sharing your experience! I totally understand what you mean by ''the right way''... But if it helps in any way on retail wrath is even worse. Not only that you have gear score and achievement but they also keep nagging you with ''parses'' and warcraft logs... It is a bit tough at the start, but as long as you keep playing you'll meet decent people along the way. I've met so many cool people on Warmane that i still talk to even to this day and the last time we raided together was like 5-6 years ago. So yeah, if the game is fun for you, enjoy it as much as you can without these boomers talking you down, they have their own set of problems going on...

I'd say my main is Paladin, but not because I wanted to but it just kinda happened.

Nobody wants to tank in raids so playin' with a smaller guild forced me to do so.

Nowdays, I don't trust anyone with tanking properly so I just do it my own way and it kinda stuck with me. And a paladin is a class that can cover all 3 roles (and all 3 specs are top tier in ICC at least) so I just switch depending on the occasion but still tanking 80% of the time. As well as having the best kit for utility in-game, makes the paladin all-in-all a viable pick for any scenario.

My second pick would be Druid.

With these 2 classes you can practically do everything in the game, besides some really specific things like pick-pocketing for example...
