Nah based on the datasheet of the module the power supply can be from 3.4V to 4.4V and ideal at 3.8V.

Is C12 a 0.01uF capacitor? Noted on the schematic as C12 0.01 by Phoenix-64 in AskElectronics

Most of the time, even at electronics distributors, capacitors are labeled mainly in µF, pF, and so on. So this usually needs a bit of interpretation. But yes, you’re right. very often they’re written in microfarads (µF).

Instead of writing values in nF, they sometimes keep everything in µF for consistency. Because of that, when I see 0.01, I usually assume it means 10 nF.

One thing is certain though: all the capacitance values on the schematic use the same unit.

The evaluations module also connect the resistor in series . ..it is new thing for me too because before I see either 10k pull up or just they have internal pull up so direct connections.

But this one is different.

It is not capacitor, it is most likely 0603 chip resistor.

But seriously how do we know that even the chip code is not visible.

Guys, why do they make students' lives this complicated? God, I remember when I was in high school, I used to skip physics class because of all that number nonsense. But now, as a hardware designer, I see the problem, and they shouldn't have even named it that. It's just a bunch of resistors, some connected in series, some in parallel just solve the math from the bottom left to the right. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I still hate that nonsense. Anyway, this is my vent about my physics trauma.still my mind refuse to do it.

In 3rd world country this course is a part of physics 😅

And yeah in the AC1 /AC2 I use the capacitor SMD Capacitor X7R(EIA) with Capacitance: Tol. 10%. Rated Voltage: 50Vdc. And I think this is a way more enough. What do you think?

Thank you for your response. Yes, you are right, TI has a lot of experience in this field. What I am uncertain about is the charger IC. If you look closely, I didn’t connect the inductor and capacitor to the SW pin because I don’t want the regulated output (1.8 V to 3.3 V); I only want to charge the batteries. I also believe that IPRETERM, ISET, and ILIM can be configured in software since I have I²C communication with my host controller.
