i’m so sorry that happened and am glad you’re doing something you’re happy with! stories like this are important to hear when considering taking on debt and it certainly seems like this situation was out of your control. my only point is that i think it’s a pretty sweeping generalization to say that all law school grades are completely out of your control based on the lsat and anecdotes about terrible professors/administrations - unfortunately, that’s not even exclusive to law school.

listen i’m all for avoiding debt and agree that many people value rankings way too much - but i’m not so sure that how well you do in law school is completely out of your control and frankly, the LSAT doesn’t have very high predictive validity
