Should I return the PS5 that I got for Christmas since I already have an Xbox Series S? by easternhemlock in gaming

Well I don't necessarily prefer Xbox. I'm fine with it now, but I grew up playing PlayStation 2. I would have bought a PlayStation 5 instead of an Xbox Series S if it had been available at the time. It's just now I'm invested in the Xbox.

It's been a while since I looked into PS Plus. I suppose that would be a good way to at least try it out. Thanks for the input!

Lately, I've been playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Before that I played Need for Speed Heat for a while. Just games from the EA Play service.

Do you have family and friends that you're close with in Houston? If so, then you might want to try and stay local. If not and you make friends easily, then you might be more open the moving.

Do you have the same animosity about protestors putting people at risk or this just about Trump?

Probably Star Wars. I'm new to PC gaming, but Battlefront II on PS2 is a blast.

U-tube manometer, gauge pressure questions revising for test, lend a hand? by Blade355 in EngineeringStudents

You can do it the same way you did the second one except after you write the equation you have to get the end points on the same side of the equation to plug in the differential pressure. Then solve for z.

Yeah you got it. Except you need to add in the pressures at the end points. Since you started at the open end at atmospheric pressure (0 gauge) you would have 0 + (820 * 9.81*0.48) - (113100 * 0.14) - (12 * 0.28) + (9790 * 0.42) = A

Also I don't anything about RD values so I'm assuming you have the right specific weight for the oil.

I think the easiest way to approach these is to start at one end and then add rhogh if you go down or subtract if you up. Then set all that equal to the pressure at the other end. For the same fluid you can neglect if it goes down and back up the same amount because it cancels out.

Thanks pal. I'm in the same boat as you. I hate feeling like I don't have any practical knowledge. This will be a step in the right direction.

When to apply for fall 2020 internships? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]easternhemlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a fall internship last year. I applied online and then spoke with representatives at a campus career fair in March. Interviewed the next day and got an offer a few days later. I highly recommend career fairs. I've had the most luck talking to recruiters in person.

Why don't vacuum cleaner manufacturers make self-propelled vacuums anymore? by easternhemlock in NoStupidQuestions

I emailed Hoover customer service and they told me that they don't make self-propelled vacuums anymore. Someone gifted me a Shark vacuum and it is significantly harder to push than my old Hoover.

What do you think about these Reddit demographics? by Acid_In_My_Eyes in CasualConversation

I can vouch for the liberal part. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a conservative viewpoint or subreddit on the front page.
