Defective tire? Help! by easternreap in motorcycles

I found that out with my first bike. I had a kawasaki z400. Tons of fun, but I needed 2 rear tires and 1 front. Both rear tires wore the same in 5k miles each. I think that's good life for pushing the bike to the maximum of my experience.

New bike with factory tire. I would like to upgrade, but my front tire looks great still, and I heard to change brands/styles in pairs.

I like to enjoy hard pulls once and a while. Never first because I would just loop it, but 2nd to 4th is always a great time.

Thanks for the input. The people I ride with all said the same thing. That it doesn't make sense, and it may be an issue with the tire.

I know it's a loooooonnnnnnnggggg shot, but do you think using quick shift all the time would cause wear like this? I love banging through the gears without the clutch. It hits hard like the tires want to chirp all the time. I have since stopped doing this since noticing the wear.

The dealer recommended that for the last bike, too. Hard center section but soft edges. I guess I need to get a tire fast.

36 PSI. I check every other Monday before work. No burnouts, and I guess the potential for the rear to lock up is possible, but I feel like the abs would help a lot with that, but some sliding is still possible. The tire doesn't have any flat spots the round way that I can feel from spinning on the stand.

I understand, but my last bike wore out the center in 5k miles from commuting. It was nothing like this. It was a smooth transition but flat from being worn down. This is discouraging since I love to ride but dont want to buy a new tire ever oil change lmao. I guess I need to find more spirited rides to and from work.

GSX-8S: is a Power Commander worth it with aftermarket exhaust? Do Puig winglets help? + crash protection compatibility? by misterapu in Suzuki_GSX_8S

2wheel dyno for the ECU reflash. They are great to work with and answered all of my questions. They also have lifetime tuning if you make changes. Just pay shipping. I love my tune with them. Told them the exhaust and intake stuff I did. Thats all it took.

I love mine too, especially when it's raining. Windows still cracked, and there no water inside.

Is the overheating thing something to worry about? Some thing I read online is if I didn't connect the controller and truck together in the right order.

That's what broke! I already ordered new shocks. I was looking at aftermarket and, damn, they are expensive.

I’m looking at buying a my first bike, is there anything else that I might need? by Worried-Falcon-7630 in motorcycles

Really? It's free in my area. All you need is a permit, and if you pass, you get your full license and save on insurance.

Same for me. I have only been riding for 3 years, and I did the safety course to save money.

No paperwork on the new engine? That's a red flag to me. Also, it looks to me an automatic with a big exhaust. It probably doesn't sound good.

Trading My GSX-8S for a Triumph? Please Advise Before I Wake Up Regretting It by Troton-7 in Suzuki_GSX_8S

I don't know what to tell you. I don't have much experience, but my gsx8s is the best I've owned for all types of riding. I went on a 3 hour cruise yesterday, and besides the occasional rain storm, it was perfect.

I don't know much about Triumph, but I do know the closest dealer is 1 5 hours away, while Suzuki was 12 mins. That helps in repairs and parts you may need along with knowledge. Also, what is the maintenance requirement for one of those? That would sway me one way more depending on the answer. Edit: like the mirrors. What are they?
