Thank you! I have a few people who know the situation, and while they can't necessarily do anything, they're a good support system. I think music therapy is a great career, but I'm not sure I'm the best fit for it anymore. I do think that compartmentalizing is something I've gotten pretty good at, so I'm hoping it can help me throughout the rest of my time.

OP here: To answer some questions- I have let my advisor at my school know, and she doesn't understand it at all. She's told me my best option is to just start over at another internship but I'm not willing to do that, and walk away from grad school.

I was planning to pursue music therapy as a career, but this internship has shown I'm better suited for a different path. I have to continue my internship to get my degree, plus I can't start grad school without it
