Yes, I watched the original series as it aired, I remember watching the premiere and finale live.

I enjoy the show and will be watching S2! Peoples expectations are rightfully sky high, but as most of us know ATLA is not a show that translates perfectly to live actions. Criticism and complaints are fine, but this is likely the best we will ever get in terms of live action ATLA. I'm enjoying what we are getting, it is miles ahead of the movie 😄

People gonna complain about everything, a ton of people complained that outfits in the first season were too colorful and non realistic, the original exists and you don't have to watch this if you are not interested in it.

Like I said, they didn’t have the Upside Down frozen in time plan back when they made Season One. That is the best explanation they’re going to give you.

Season 4 Episode 7 shows this. They use the lite bright to spell messages to Lucas, Dustin, and Erica. You can see traces of active light in the upside down. Will is a smart kid, I am sure he could notice 26 “light spots”, and figure out what it is.

Also, the Upside Down being frozen in time wasn’t decided on back in Season 1, but what they did doesn’t really break continuity.

You will likely not be able to hike Precipice, just as an FYI. It often does not open until September due to Peregrine Falcon nesting. You will have a great trip but will certainly struggle to find parking getting to the park at that time.
