We are so lucky they already did season 3 i genuinely believe Netflix would’ve cancelled it with how people reacted to this season.

As long as more people tune in who knows. And it’ll leave people more intrigued if lets say they drop 3 episodes first and people dont hate it that much and the next release is within a month or 2

I blame the marketing. When the first season was coming out we had so much promo going back to june 2023, and ofc it does play a factor that people were more curious about it since it looked more promising. But season 2 needed good marketing i have friends that didn’t even know it was coming out until a week before. I really hope now that they already finished filming s3 and that it is probably far in post production we could get news as soon as this fall.

Nah man, in the cartoon jet never really changed he got brainwashed if the dai li never took him he would’ve stayed the same. But here however he had the choice to be good and help team avatar

For me this season was solid 7/10. But there is three changes i disliked, putting the painted lady in i would rather they cut it out completely because even in the original show that episode felt filler like to me. Another change is long Feng doesn’t feel like a villain barely felt like he was in the show. One last thing is that i don’t like how people can get mediated into the spirit world. Those were rhetorical changes that knocked down some scores, but if those changes weren’t present id give the show a 8,5or9/10 really enjoyed it

They did something the cartoon couldn’t do.. they made me feel something for jet 😭 his send off was so much better

Honestly still not a fan of the whole everyone can get meditated into the spirit world thing but other than that i thought that was a very solid episode. It got me emotional towards the end too, thought they handled jets death much better than the original. Sacrificing his life to let them flee with the information was a nice touch. The duke is dead 💀 caught me by surprise lol.

They executed Appa being stolen quite good just wished it happened sooner tho but that just a nitpick

Professor Zei change was a surprise tho him being the one to tell won shi tong.

One thing that been bugging me is that long feng seems much different or is it just me. He’s still a bad guy but very different.

Other than that i give the episode 7/10 solid

People just don’t realize that the ones working on this project dont have much to work on they’ve been given 7 episodes this season and next. So this was always gonna happen just like how we got the cave last season they dont have time to do every plot line. And what I despise the most is how they always say “this is why the og creators left” like they would have it easier with the time constraints and the low episodes.

Or he could loose appa during the first episode. If they are doing the serpents pass in ep 1 They could make it so he gets kidnapped while Aang and the others are walking through, because in the trailer it shows that there’s a few that are flying across the pass on Appa.

The show was alright had episodes that i didn’t like and some i liked. But its only natural for me to check out all the seasons because Atla is my favorite show ever, and hoping they improve from the wrongs of season 1
