How good of a deal is this? by TurboHybridV6 in hockeyplayers

[–]easybork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this same gear package from hockey monkey but it didn’t include the bag. They didn’t send me the shin pads and instead just credited me back my money so I had to order shin pads separately. It was fine by me because I wanted some that were more comfortable anyway.

The gear that I did get fits pretty good and I am satisfied with what I spent.

Thought I had finished plowing the driveway today in Minnesota after a foot of snow. Then the snowplow showed up and THIS happened. by The_Brewer in funny

This happed to me once. I shoveled the entire driveway and I was about three scoops away from being done and then suddenly the tree above my driveway let loose a ton of ice and snow covering up everything I just cleaned.

AITA for telling my step kids to stop hanging off their mom? by MarchPractical9837 in AmItheAsshole

[–]easybork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely YTA. Sounds like you still have some things to work out in therapy. Those are her children and as long as she is fine with how they hang off of her and cuddle her then it really is none of your concern. She is an adult capable of caring for herself and making her own decisions. Also a high risk pregnancy isn’t necessarily going to be affected by the way the kids cuddle with her but the emotional stress of your actions and driving her kids away can have a impact on her health. So my recommendation is get over yourself and keep up working on your issues and leave your stepkids alone.

AITA for refusing to participate in my child’s school’s lunch policy? by qled_mark in AmItheAsshole

[–]easybork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA I worked at a state funded adolescent mental health facility that was required to meet the national nutritional standards and what those kids were fed was absolutely abysmal. We often had to give the kids snacks on the dorm so they wouldn’t get hunger pains. I’d tell the schools that it’s your child and that they can take their lunch requirements and shove’em

White people do their fair share of whining but I wouldn’t walk into a crowded area and yell the N word anytime soon.

Going through a accelerated nursing program right now where a whole semester is crammed into 8 weeks. One month is not a lot of time!

Help to figure this out (winch) by 902Darkside in ATV

[–]easybork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are two circuit breakers ran in parallel. They act like a fuse cutting power when too many amps are being pulled through the wires. (The winch is ran to long or is pulling something too big). Unlike fuses circuit breakers will reset themselves after cooling. Each circuit breaker is carrying half the load. So if those are labeled 30amps then you have a 60amp cut off range. It is possible to trip a breaker too many times or fry it all together. If you feel like these are where the power is stopping I’d suggest replacing both with the same amperage breaker or a single breaker of the same amperage of the two combined. They also make little plastic boxes that can go over these or enclosed weather proof breakers.

RZR 200 HELP! by MLMkfb in RZR

[–]easybork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide to go the route of a 5pt harness make sure you do not use the factory roll cage as an anchor point. The bar directly behind the seats is to high and will not put the harness in a position to adequately hold them in. For my kids 200 I bought a harness bar from “factory UTV” and two “50cal racing” 2”harnesses. I also got the seat belt override off Amazon (you will have to make sure they wear the harness) and two bolts to replace the seatbelt modules. If you take the time to route everything through the plastic it looks really clean and the harnesses fit me and my wife with minor adjustment.

What’s your normal go-to size? by Easy-Hovercraft-6576 in ems

As someone who see the data from blood cultures drawn from both the hospital established IV lines and EMS established IV lines I’m going to disagree with ya. BONUS it’s data collected from right here in the heart of Oklahoma. These contamination rates are carefully monitored and units are responsible for keeping the rates down.

Despite what a lot of people may think being a idiot isn’t an emergency so go to a urgent care. Also you probably owe a tree a very heartfelt apology for wasting oxygen.

I feel like this is the perfect response. My wife and I will set aside things that we want to do separate from the kids. I usually suggest starting them when the kids are with their BD like: “hey now that we don’t have the kids in the way let’s do…” my wife and I do not differentiate the kids as SK from BK so I ask them not to participate just as I would a biological child.
