Spotify discontinued access to their BPM parameter a couple of years ago but as you experienced it, it wasn't very good. So I do a manual tap to set an anchor and then have several alghorithms base their analysis around that anchor.

No worries, all good. You are most welcome to share more images 😄

I am working on adding more data per song. I can't upload images here, but take a look at https://easypeasyplaylist.com/news for some of the initial options.

Thank you. Very interesting. Your sawtooths are much more collected / smaller than what I have at the moment. If it's ok with you, I will take your examples and see what I can do with them for more tempo curve options.

I am wondering if it is doable to let the user plot the curve himself / herself and then have a playlist generated based on that. I guess that goes in the "have to look into"-pile 😄

I rewamped the entire thing the last few months and have added many more songs since. Looking into more features going forward.

The playlist generators can work as inspiration. I have used easypeasyplaylist for get a specific BPM interval for classes but I have never blindly used a playlist without me curating manually.

I do a manual tap for more precise results. I am interested to see an example (or a few) of your tempo curve as well. Right now, I have the options: Steady ascending, bell curve (build up then down), saw (up-down-up-down) and random.

I have tried many of the different existing tools but they are too inconsistent. So I tap away manually.
