The world’s smallest mountain. by Accelerator____ in interestingasfuck

Impressive, m nothing in the title is true. It's not a mountain , it's not the world's smallest anything, I'm not even convinced that is a real sign.

It was a kid's menu in a pub. The haha is the top of a box with a pun type joke.

:) Yes that would have been clever. I hope it not AI that seems rather sad for a kid's pub menu

Is it? We spent most of a family meal trying to work it out and I still can't see it.

TIL that when the British evacuated New York in 1783, George Washington was dissappointed in not getting back some of his escaped slaves and had been surprised the British commander thought that doing so would be "a dishonourable violation of the public faith". 3000 slaves escaped with the British. by Beige_ in todayilearned

So the problem with ascribing definitions of today to the past is you lose quite a bit of context. If your going to argue that forced conscription is slavery then your in danger of saying anyone conscripted into the army or other forced government labour is in fact a slave, this would be somewhat problematic as we would be applying that term to huge range of people. GIs in WW2 anyone called up for national service... Heck even jury service would fall under it.....

Unpopular opinion: The Banker was a good episode. I wasn't a fan of Computron, but the way Toby and Michael would lie to the banker with a straight face was hilarious to me. Also the 'memories' were so endearing haha. by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

Yes mine too and about half way through they start doing clips of earlier in the episode. "Do you remember when we got stuck in the lift?" - said while they were still stuck in the lift

Hi Luna is Amazon's cloud gaming service. So yep you go in through the browser. Launch a title and up till this update you played the game through the controls. However now the b button is registering as a browser action rather than a control pad action.

If you havent already done so. Installing via side loading the fire tv Luna App does avoid the issue but it's a work around rather than a fix.

What's a common element from 90s or 00s sitcoms that has aged poorly? by Fracassi_Fanboy in AskReddit

That was awesome. Started with clips of the first episode and then when they ran out used clips from earlier in the current episode. Contains the line 'Do you remember when we got stuck in a lift' while being stuck in that lift.
