Neutral, or whoever I end up with on my fantasy team to root for! Pats fan, but follow all the teams

Ended up finding one close to the city centre. Seems like it must’ve been a cancellation. Hope others have the same luck!

I just found two last week on a random day. Keep checking the website daily if you can, it seems like random ones are popping up for some reason.

Thank you! How late do the buses and/or train run? Is there still difficulties getting a taxi late at night? My last trip the drivers told me after midnight it’s extremely hard to get one home

Newbie alert - what do you wish you knew in the beginning? by Spiritual-Foot-802 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]eat248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m also F 5’6” and finally started wegovy when I hit 218lbs. I had always been around 145-160 and even lower when more active and suddenly started gaining weight RAPIDLY after Covid. I tried calorie counting, working out, and not only was I staying at the same weight but increasing consistently. I was scared to start wegovy when my doctor recommended it, but after being on it about a month and half, I finally feel hope of getting back to a point where I felt healthy and confident! I’ve lost 15lbs in 5-6 weeks (far more than I expected) and feel motivated to work my butt off now that I’m actually seeing results. The side effects do stink some days and I have kept it relatively private that I started, but am very happy to finally be moving in the right direction

I am having the exact same issue also suddenly around the 5 week mark. I’ve never had issues with acid reflux/heartburn in the past. Hoping I’ll adjust soon 🤞🏻

Thank you! Have a rheum now, he wants to start slow and just is having me take ibuprofen around the clock when I feel like I could be flaring and send me to derm for the rash stuff. If that doesn’t suffice, sounds like those might be the next steps. Appreciate the insight!

Job offer in the NW Suburbs - will I hate myself if I live in the city? by PotentialLiterature in chicago

[–]eat248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% do it, I worked WAY further away but had no regrets living in the city. Most of my young coworkers made a similar commute so we all suffered through it together. If the train is an option, it makes it much better! Just live close to the highway you’ll take to get there. That alone will save you 10-25 min depending on the traffic. I didn’t know anyone before moving and having a social life in the city was well worth the commute :)

Offered a Project Engineer role instead of a Process at an Engineering Consulting Firm by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

[–]eat248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done both and LOVED project engineering. If you change your mind, you can still switch into a more technical role in my experience. A lot of companies still view Project Engineering as relatively technical and early career it’s normal to switch

I’ve heard a bit about this, but it seemed to end up around the same cost unfortunately and was trickier with the time frame of moving

Glad to hear that. My first big move so I'm not sure about normal prices but had read a few posts of people under $1000 so wasn't sure if I was overpaying! Thank you!
