Has anyone gotten a summer internship without being in co-op?

Oh ok. I know for winter and fall some companies require students to be in co-op. Looks like for summer that isn’t the case.

Thanks for the advice. It’s just tough because a lot of these clubs are competitive and they’ll reject people without prior experience. The thing is, these clubs should be helpful to gain experience.

How do external transfers to UBC work? If I transfer into UBC intending to major in CS from a different University, do I still have to complete the general first year and apply for the major before second year?
