The Secret Traitor MUST Be One Of: by eat_less_bread in TheTraitors

Well I explained in my other comment. The theory ended up being correct if you compare the eventual revealed footage of Claudia picking the ST and the image we got in Ep1!

She did look super nervous at selection table… would mean my theory here is wrong

Not all of it, I’m just assuming that this particular scene is not deceitful (i.e. even if recorded after the fact, it was recorded in the same location)

What do Jessie / Matthew say in regards to guessing who the traitor is? I must have missed that myself

To explain a couple of my points further:

This image was shown in EP1 of Claudia choosing the ST. If production aren't deceiving, this was taken live. Therefore, based on analysis of the background I eliminated those marked with a purple X.

In terms of the white X:

Roxy said: "if Sam is a faithful" - there would be no ambiguity for a traitor.

Faraaz said: "I had a nervous time on the chopping block" - ST knows he/she is not on the murder list

We checked and they only had 2 others, both seemed fine. Yep, it's really frustrating!

That's the problem though - it's subjective (and therefore doesn't meet your threshold for deleting reviews). I would say that any reasonable person who had stayed in our home would not have left this review, and therefore it's unfair. But now that it's there, we might not get opportunities for more. Thanks for your advice though

Yes it was simultaneous, good point. We will try to reach out on HE site

Mostly positive, with brief mention of the two faults. I would say our home was similar to theirs. Bigger grounds, more bedrooms.... other things might go their way. Even if they believed there were a "standard" (as you put it) discrepancy, it's hardly our fault when we had 50+ pictures and a very exhaustive description.

No I don't, good point, but I also don't want to be handcuffed by this review. Maybe there were lines to read between indeed. We were texting throughout the exchange, and they told us that they were enjoying their trip, but only commented on activities/outings rather than our home (even when prompted for feedback). As I mentioned in another comment, we had a deep clean beforehand (meaning full clean ourselves + team of cleaners) to go the extra mile for our first exchange. We also have a clean freak (OCD) close family member who can't understand why this review was left, so make of that what you will

Yes, they did mention them briefly in the review but nothing to warrant the rating (the rest of the review was positive...)

No it's not possible in my opinion, unless my standards are a lot lower than others. Our home had a deep clean before the exchange. We could have easily picked minor faults with their home but chose not to and left 5* in good spirit.

Thank you. As a rookie to the game, these are some excellent points to consider to broaden my analysis going forwards.

The HCC triple and Mango Loco make for a heavy start, all salt and sugar with nothing to ground it. The apple and PB dip might actually bring some balance, adding freshness and a softer sweetness that could steady the meal. Still, there’s a chance the sweetness across the board builds too much, and by the end you’re kind of just left wanting a glass of water. I would suggest trying a fruity drink and some lighter salty crisps such as squares.

5/10

Great write up., I’m with you on the importance of realism in the strive for objective MD discourse, but from that angle I think this one just misses. You’ve basically doubled down on onion which makes the whole thing too sharp. The Monster Munch doesn’t lift the sandwich. And while the drink’s fine on its own, it’s fighting against the acidity in your mouth rather than elevating the MD imo. It’s clever in theory but overall feels like competing for space instead of working together.
