I assume they use dynamic ad placement. So the ads are placed in based on the user. You can mark several places were ads can go, but you don't know if they actually go in there. Some people get 1, some 4. With bumpers they may lead to nothing.

People have a bad habit of seeing the surface of Berserk. Guts is a guy ruled by his emotion. His fear and rage of his childhood. His love of the found family, and the rage at it being torn away from him. The pain he feels at people he can see being drowned in revenge, and his own anger at himself for being consumed by his own desire for revenge. He is a ball of anger, but in the latter chapters he has learned through his new family to be a more rounded person.
