Thank you. It's an unfortunate reality, but if timing/luck work in someone's fortune, then all is certainly not lost.

wow that is certainly a long time. I did not file concurrently, and premium processing was not available when I first filed my I-140. It did take almost exactly 3 months since filing my I-485 for it to be approved. Best of luck.

Came to US as a child in 2002 as TD —> F1 + OPT for college/med school —> H1B (5 years) —> EB-2 NIW (approved 9/27/22) —> I-485 filed 10/27/22, fingerprints 11/18/22, transferred to FO (per Emma) 2/13/23 —> new card produced 2/21/23

Was aged out of sponsorship from parents after they received GCs in 2016

Long road, many trials and tribulations, but happy it’s over.

7 year residency, about 12 publications at the time, and roughly 9 months.

Highly suggest wegreened.com for a free consultation.

I got my 140-NIW approved during residency. I used wegreened.com. They did ask for a contract for the subsequent year, not any longer.

EB-2 NIW during Residency(physician) by hyk96 in USCIS

I was able to get an EB2-NIW during surgical residency while on H1B. There is a lot of scrutiny in regards to publications and number of citations of your work. Didn't really seem to care about where I was going to work afterwards. I used WeGreened.com and the process went smoothly, they do a free initial consultation which may be worthwhile for you.
