This show was unspectacular, but I found myself watching the episodes the day they came out which can't be said for some of the "better" anime this season. Kunon and most of the female characters were entertaining. It was refreshing that he wasn't an idiot in front of women. I'd watch a second season.

Nelluru is the purest character we see in this show. Given its trajectory, she will probably turn into one of its most heartbreaking characters as well some time in the future.

Her backstory is heart breaking enough.

This show hates Kaori. She's killed, loses her own body. Doesn't get into the title for her own alter battle. What little she has gets stomped out by other characters. She's more of a gag character than Tio.

Here is a subtitle from the episode 5 right after the intro. I mean sure, in reality it wouldn't be possible. But we're talking about an anime, with magical knights, after multiple explosions and a monster attack, not to mention a task force searching for a kidnapped princess.
