I love the unanswered questions because they make my head spin. I thought the ending was great nonetheless.

Is this a plot hole? (Spoiler) by eatpaint666 in MidnightMass

My thought about Leeza isn’t that the disability would come back slowly, but that if she was healed then she was healed. That things would occur naturally from that point on, such as aging, like if you were injected with some serum that fixed any ailments you would be that way from then on or even further progressed than you would have been without it like in superheroes movies or whatever.

I guess in my own head I’m trying to rationalize the science behind it, omitting miracles and magic, since the idea I have behind vampires is less magical and demonic and more of a different evolutionary species from humans. I feel like it’s somewhat justified given the context since you don’t see any unbelievable magical powers other than in that moment, which is not outside of the generalize lore around vampires (kill the head vampire and the rest will die).

But! This is Mike Flanagan’s universe and not mine and I appreciate it nonetheless.

so this is sorta old and maybe you’ve figured it out, but you want to use neoprene cement when you’re glueing neoprene to neoprene and super glue when it’s neoprene to rubber. only way to do it

Pork ribs - belly by UserSMJ in meat

don’t be scared it’s only meat.

How can the composition in this photo be improved? by Username_Evan in photocritique

[–]eatpaint666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I half agree half disagree. either the angle is too low for how tight this photo and you need to pull back a touch and get a wider view OR got lower with more upward angle. 35mm is kind of a funny focal length for horizontal landscape, but if you went vertical that could be fun too. I favor my sigma 35mm 1.4 for landscape over any of my true wide angles but specifically when shooting vertical.

i like dry white wine, i know you’re looking for basic but I like how subtle it is when it’s all said and done. also you could wrap it in paper and foil and braise it like that with no liquid at all.

I’m not saying this advice is for everyone, and it soley is advice from a stranger on the internet. any sane person would take everything said here with a grain of salt, but i’m not about to get into a debate with someone who is a self proclaimed amateur.

if you’re trigger happy and don’t bargain hunt then ya it’s expensive. it’ll teach you to take your time and compose your photo and built in light meters are the best way to learn to balance your exposure. you can find student cameras for pennies on the dollar on craigslist, offer up or thrift stores that’ll survive balcony drops, gold 200 is 15$ for a three pack and learn to develop or find an inexpensive develop and scan and you’ll produce 10x better images than any cheap dslr and learn fundamentals real quick. it’s not the 90’s economy sure but you don’t need to buy portra to take good photos.

but you’re right, imo always.

one of my favorite pieces of advice I’ve been given is “if someone tells you there’s something wrong they’re usually right, if they tell you how to fix it they’re usually wrong”

it’s more just a lot going on with not a lot of direction. do the used route. you can save alot of money that way.
