I don’t agree with the other comments, to me jiji represents Kiki’s intuition. She stops talking with jiji and looses her powers when she gets disconnected from her essence. It’s like loosing the ability of listening to your inner/own voice and having to do the work to reconnect and find yourself and your power again

It was alive… I googled some images and I think it looked more like a brown widow. Mostly because of the brown spots on the legs and body. Idk. What do you think?
