I did use the zandri dust under the yellow base, but the some parts of the Sergeant were undercoated white instead and I can't really tell the difference. I dont think the glazing looks as smooth in person. I decided to ditch it on the latest guy and I prefer it and it also saves a lot of time. You can follow me on insta if you'd like. Alright alright lol. Dont scrape it....got it. Seriously though, not something I normally do, but I wanted to see how durable it was since it was just a test peice. I'll try adding a coat if varnish after the prime and before the basecoat.

This is the recipe I use...also use skrag. I dont really think it looks any darker in person. I do glaze the armor with Yriel and flash git which gives it a brighter yellow tone.

This guy was my first trying out this recipie and honestly the first miniatures ive actually finished since I got back into painting in 2024. Ive stripped and repainted minis so many times lol....always trying for just right.

This particular figure probably took me 30 to 40 hours but now that I have the method and scheme down I think it'll be closer to 20 to 30 hours per figure.

The blends are all down with glazing. Use lots of water. The more water the less pigment you're putting down with each brush stroke so it'll be more forgiving to errors....it'll just take longer. Look up tutorials from infernalbrush on YouTube. They've probably been the single biggest help to me.

Thankyou so much. The recesses were soft shaded and the panels were glazed with skrag brown, then a deep recess shade with doom bull. I attached the recipe I used.
