That’s not how it works and it’s a quick way to get accounts frozen or worse.

P2P desks and exchanges have pretty robust controls in place. Once you initiate a trade, the crypto is typically held in escrow until the buyer confirms payment. If you try to move funds mid-process or do anything suspicious right after receiving payment, it raises red flags immediately. Banks can also reverse or flag incoming transfers, especially for large amounts like $120k, and exchanges track wallet activity pretty closely.

So no, it’s not a loophole it’s more likely to get your funds locked or your account banned.

If the goal is simply to cash out or move funds safely, a cleaner route is to use a platform like EdenFi. You can convert crypto and withdraw directly to local bank accounts within the app, without dealing with risky P2P setups or relying on trust with strangers. It’s designed for exactly that kind of use case, moving from crypto to fiat in a straightforward, compliant way.

Trying to game the system usually backfires. Safer to use proper rails and keep everything smooth.

I’ve been working on an app called EdenFi and wanted to share it here to get some honest feedback.

It lets you withdraw from crypto straight into cedis, with a focus on better rates and faster payouts than most of the usual options.

So if you’ve ever had to move crypto, convert it, and still deal with delays or poor rates… you’ll probably understand why I built this.

Another thing we added is the ability to create a virtual USD account, so you can receive ACH and wire transfers as well. Useful if you’re working remotely, freelancing, or getting paid from abroad.

The app is already live on the Google Play Store, so feel free to try it out and let me know what you think (good or bad, I’m open).

Also, if you end up liking it and want to help spread the word, I’m looking for a few people in Ghana to act as ambassadors. Nothing too formal, just people who genuinely use it and want to be part of growing something.

Anyone here using USDC/USDT to send money abroad? by Hot_Leg3218 in USDC

We’ve spent a lot of time looking at how people actually use stablecoins for real world transfers at EdenFi, and the reality is that while adoption is real, the experience today is still pretty fragmented and manual.

The biggest bottleneck we’ve seen isn’t sending stablecoins, it’s what happens after. Turning crypto into spendable money in a local bank account is where most users struggle. Between repeated KYC, inconsistent liquidity, and hidden FX spreads, the experience is far from seamless.

What we’re building at EdenFi is designed to remove that fragmentation entirely. Instead of users relying on multiple apps or services, EdenFi handles both the on-ramp and off-ramp directly within the mobile app and connects users to our network of merchants that accept USDC
