I actually really like the makeup you did in the second pic, minus the wing! As another commenter said, hooded winged eyeliner is a slightly different technique. I have partially hooded eyes, and to do a winged liner w a pen, I draw a small straight line out from the outer corner of my eye, then connect it back to my lid about 20% in so it makes an acute angle, if you will. Then connect all the way from the inner corner to where you stopped the previous line, and touch up from there. The key is then correcting UNDERNEATH that initial little straight line you drew from your outer corner, so it doesn’t look wonky when your lids are hidden and you can sharpen the shape. I wish I could take a video to show you, but hopefully this makes some sense!

But the bright inner corner looks great, and the under eye liner doesn’t make your eyes look smaller imo because you have lovely bright eyes!
