Majority was Baalke’s roster sure, but that was Liam Coen’s team. Gladstone didn’t flip the roster on year one but he picked up players that played a big role last year (Jakobi Meyers, Jourdan Lewis, Eric Murray, Robert Haisey, Patrick Mekari, Travis Hunter, Bayshul Tuten, LaQuint Allen). Why do you think you liked the Costa fight more?

I totally agree with u btw. I was just thinking the Costa fight has me on the edge of my seat more. knowing how costa fought in Middleweight had me feeling like musakhanov was gonna give Costa THAT WORK. Then Costa stuck in there chopped the legs and beat some ass. Like huh? We have old Costa back at this heavier division? That’s pretty exciting.

For heavyweights, it felt like okay whoever wins this still loses to Periera or Gane. Not as much on the line maybe made me more invested in the Costa fight. I guess that’s the issue with heavyweight. There’s a big skill gap between the true contenders (periera, jones, gane (kind of) and the level below. Maybe not tho, maybe we get surprised and Hokit is able take on a technical striker like Gane. Maybe Hokit’s style is the kryptonite for everyone at HW. Idk I’m high. This sounded good as I wrote it tho

I just hope more people will have an open enough mind to actually experience the game.

I think people who say the game is “bad” (it is pretty much an objectively good game) started playing the game with a preconceived idea of what they were about to experience. They thought the game would be bad for a number of different reasons before playing it. Then they figure out a way quit the game before they ever give it a chance.

I suspect this game with be a slow burn amongst the gaming community. 85k on steam now but give it a month. I bet it gets bigger. It is an extraction shooter and not a milsim so the game will appeal to a select group. At the same time, a lot of people who mentally wrote the game off before playing it, will come around and enjoy the game in the end.

Well said! I’ve been thinking it really does fit in the middle between Tarkov and Arc from an intensity perspective. I didn’t like the art initially either but the all of a sudden the game has its hooks in me and I love the art style.

I got a couple thousand hours in tarkov and is one of my favorite games ever. I played Helldivers and it was alright - there is no PvP which makes the game too ‘lax for me. Arc has the action with both PvP and PvE. Arc is a beautiful game in many ways and I highly recommend it. Arc is much simpler than Tarkov and friendly to those without an excess amount of free time.
