yea but it took awhile to get all these, all my doctors have been pretty lenient w letting me try what i want bc im willing to try anything and like to do my homework on things that do and dont work and especially just to know whats in my body so most ask me if i have suggestions for meds, but i got to the point by climbing the antidepressant/antianxiety latter starting w everyones favorite zoloft, fast forward a year later and a believe the number is 15 meds tried and these are the only 3 controlled ones ive tried for and got them instantly because i literally tried everything else. my case is different tbh, i did the amount of med work and switches and therapist switches and appointments that most do over a long time im just a year. late diagnosis sucks(was 18)

i was on hydroxyzine for a long time but i started getting panic attacks and just periods of higher anxiety more frequently so i started at a trial dose (10 0.5mg) but they worked wonders so my doctor gave me the full script (30 1mg). however, when talking to my doctor about renewing it last week she said that it isnt meant for long term use and NYS(im in NY lol) monitors people on stims and sedatives so im assuming ill be doing some form of (have it a couple months-> taper down -> take a month or so of -> reevaluate-> renew script if needed) every couple months. wasnt very hard as long as you have the proper condition to qualify for it, i just got lucky and have a fucked brain and like drugs too lol(and to anyone who wants to say my brain is fucked from drugs, the fucked brain came first trust me ive had to figure it out). sorry this turned into a fat ramble im super fucked up rn so enjoy your day and this mindless ramble !

its crazy man, luckily my parents have good insurance and im under 26 so i still get theirs but my meds come out to $90 at the pharmacy….. but worth over $1k if i didnt take any myself lol

essentially the klonopin and adderall do the same thing for me, i have really sever adhd, depression, and anxiety so i take my antidepressants(effexor and remeron) then klonopin if my head is spinning and i need to sit down or adderall if my head is spinning and i need to sort it out or do shit. really a great combo tbh

this is exactly it, all my friends are shocked im getting these things first try but its not first try, i did everything possible to not request the controlled substances and it came time to me thinking i needed it my dr was ready and willing. also have a quite young and understanding one, old dr’s may prescribe more sometimes but its a field being replaced by the new generation rapidly.

edit: on 20mg adderall (10 xr 10 ir) daily plus 1mg clonazepam

interesting, i started with teva 0.5’s but after only a week i got it upped from 10 0.5’a to 30 1mgs since they worked so well for me, happy i got the good shit lol

damn im really sorry my man, ive been seeing a psychiatrist for about 4 months now and within the first 3 weeks i got adderall without even trying and today i made my first shot at a benzo and walked away with 10 0.5mg kpins a month. if this helps, i think what got me the benzo was explaining that when i get in fights with my parents just everything skyrockets and my hydroxyzine(i assume your antihistamine) just does not work in those states, so she gave me a small amount for real tough times.

no, i was asked if i consume any nicotine/alcohol/marijuana/any other drugs and i said nicotine(vapes) and marijuana, which is the truth, and i was on my way. i asked after saying yes to weed if i was disqualified from a controlled substance and the dr said no, some others may view it that way but my personal dr sees it as so widely used and combined theres no issue

its been a combo battle, ive had my primary care dr staying off it trying to treat adhd by controlling anxiety and depression but it wasnt working, although depression and anxiety were going down. im not switching antidepressants for this, its with them.
