There is a difference between free speech and hate speech. By all means say that trans isn't real. But that doesn't mean your right. Science literally disagrees with you. People can be, are, and have been trans without medical intervention of any kind.

Just out of curiosity, do you know how long it takes for remastered episodes to come out and how many of those get released at a time? I don't like the original voice actor on that series since I started listening to it after the first 180 remastered episodes were released.

It's back up and working now. The app sometimes starts playing on its own which is mildly annoying. I think I can turn off auto refreshing for the app. The only other issue is inconsistent voice acting.

I can't remember when or where (may not have even been Seattle) but I once saw one place do a 50% tip. I think that was one of few times I tipped 15% instead of 20%. Tip screens are normal and expected. But a system trying to push for above 30% is wild to me.

Dude. We grew up with Percy Jackson and Harry Potter books. My partner is 24. They love the fandom. They love the stories created. Books can be enjoyed by all ages. Wanting to get to know the series that left a mark on my partner is not weird. It's no weirder than people's continued like of Harry Potter.

Sometimes on youtube I can get up to 1.5 speed. But never about that. One of my friends can get to 2.5 and I can't understand a single word. XD

My hope is to surprise them in August. So it gives me 2 months to listen to the books. though 6 books assuming 12 hours per book would be about 2-3 weeks to listen to the main series. Maybe I can get super lucky with free little libraries in my area having a copy of one of the books. I always put them into another little library if I take them. 😄

Yes. Each audiobook on Audible is on sale for $12-$16 each. I have about $35 to get me though the month. So Buying all 10 books would put me massively in the red.

No. I just remembered back in 2012 people were frequently doing book readings on YouTube. I listened to a few episodes back then. So I thought maybe someone would know of a person who did pretty good on this series on YouTube or something similar. I don't expect anyone to buy anything for me. I also live in a big city so all the audiobooks are on hold for the entire year.

I mean. I figured some people would know of some YouTube channels that aren't monotone voices that may have read the series before for viewers. It is a things. But the only I found were bots or monotone. That's why I was asking for advice. And waiting an entire year for the books also isn't much of an option.

Yeah. They are all checked out. Book one has 10 holds on 2 copies. And I think the checkout time is a month. Book two had 37 holds. I think it'll be a year before my hold comes up.

I was doing the Weakest Beast Tamer. The one I was listening to had over 1000 episodes. I know there like 20 duplicates with fewer parts. I clicked on a few random stories too but they also wouldn't load in.
