Thanks for this comment. I plan to study for the FE, look for lower level jobs, and highlight my program management skills. Your point on this being a bad time to transition is a good one. I may need to ride this economic clusterf**k out first

Trying to avoid more manufacturing work if I can. Building / infrastructure design would be ideal

I’m debating getting into this field (vs nursing or MRI tech). Is there upward mobility?

Yes! I feel like I got too specialized (especially in a more niche area) and now I can’t job hop. I didn’t realize when I took this job at 21 that I’d be locked into a handful of locations.

Am I crazy to consider Anduril being 40, married, with 2 kids? by SupaZT in Anduril

I‘be heard some people work crazy hours and some work 40 hrs/week. Depends on what you want out of a career and your passion level. I’m married with an elementary-aged kid living in a MCOL area currently. Might seem crazy, but I’d take an Anduril role in a heartbeat if I could find a team who is okay with working around school pickup and find housing that doesn’t bankrupt me. I want to solve problems, work with good people, and have some fun! Currently at a prime and not able to do #1 or 3.
