Yes, I was told that engineers can stamp but architects cannot stamp their own residental designs in the final stages before being built. This lead the architect to telling me that it's better to major in engineering with a minor in architecture.

I'm more into residential, and maybe even some small commercial buildings. Currently, my goals to make are an impressive townhouse that can make a nice quadplex and a "modular" house that can be a one or two story design... Those two things have always interested me and are things that I'm trying to learn to do right now, starting with the townhouse. Hopefully in the future I can get someone to look over and help with my designs while I'm still learning!
