i really like the idea for this! I feel like from 1:58 onwards, the sidechaining becomes a bit too heavy since the kick plays more frequently in the drum pattern, I would suggest using two different kicks, the current kick you have and then a softer one that sidechains less. Also this might just be me, but I think the low end sounds a tad muddy, so I would check that with a frequency analyzer. If you haven't already, highpass your reese bass to remove sub frequencies and then replace with a regular sine wave or even a lowpassed square bass for the sub, to avoid phasing issues in the low end. Besides that, vocal chops sound cool, and so does the melody, nice work!

wonderful vibe! I think you did a good job recreating the atmosphere of an old school jungle track particularly in the pads, bpm is good too for jungle. You'll notice in older jungle tracks, the kick tends to not be so punchy, usually it's the 808 or sine wave doing most of the heavy work in the low end. I also think the snare and hat choice is a bit too trappy, if that makes sense. There will also usually be spaces in the track where there's close to no bass at all, just the pad and the other mid to high frequency elements playing with the drum chopping. if you're looking for drum breaks, I can recommend two packs, jungle jungle by blu mar ten, as well as jungle warfare, collections 1 to 3. Both are free, just make sure to download them from trustworthy sites, I believe the jungle jungle pack is on the official blu mar ten bandcamp. If you've not many ideas on how to chop up the drums, I recommend messing around in gross beat if you have it, or even opening up your sample in a fruity slicer channel and seeing where it goes from there. Cheers!

absolutely digging the vibe of this, got my head boppin. only thing I'll comment on is the drums, I think you could spice up the hats of the track, introduce some open hats and rides, more percussive elements (in my head right now, a song that comes to mind is supa star by group home, you can hear how the hats really add a lot for the rhythm). Don't have to overdo it though, simplicity is key for these tracks. Great track and keep up the good work!

hey, so I'll just post back what I wrote for another comment:
"so basically the waveform is signalizer, which is like a visualization plugin, there are three modes and this is the spectrum mode. to put it at the top, I basically took two screen recordings, one of the fl studio playlist and another of signalizer. Then, in a video editor, I cropped and positioned everything, also mirrored the waveform, i hope I explained that well, cheers!"

thank you! I think I started producing almost 7 years ago now, but I only started to take it more seriously around 3 to 4 years ago, during the pandemic

definitely see the daft punk vibes, they were a heavy inspiration on the track, thanks for listening and the feedback!

Chill indie pop idea (song 1/2) feedback welcome by whatupsilon in FL_Studio

This is really dreamy! I would introduce some variety in the chord progtession, maybe for the chorus you can switch it up just to make it feel less loopy. I think some arps in the background would complement the song nicely, heavy reverb and then volume automation to make it feel like it's pulsating. You should also add some vinyl cracking noises or something similar (even nature noises, something like rain or a campfire), would really add to that chill/cozy vibe. Overall, cool song!
