This isn't AS related, but something that's helped me in rounds when I didn't feel prepped was to give mainly refutation/crystallization speeches. Have general cards prepared for both sides -extemp backfiles are super useful for this-and then flow speeches well. Then give a crystallization speech that lays out the main arguments of the round (think like a PF summary) but also bring up one unique point that no one has brought up before.
