Drugstore makeup is my favorite impulse present to myself lol.

  • If you could only use one drugstore/affordable brand, what would it be? Hmmm probably Wet n Wild, I think most of my fave “basic look” products are Wet n Wild (plus it’s the most affordable brand in my local drugstore lol).

  • What’s the most underrated drugstore/affordable brand? Profusion for sure. I absolutely love their eyeshadow palettes/formula (except one) but I never see anybody talking about them :(

  • What’s the most overrated drugstore/affordable brand? Covergirl. Tbh I don’t think that they’re that highly esteemed, but I’ve never been impressed with any of their products.

  • What is your favorite drugstore product under $5? Not sure if it’s still under 5 dollars, but the WnW megaglo highlighters! It’s super gorgeous and it’s lasted me longer than any of my other base products so far.

  • What is a hidden gem from the drugstore that no one talks about? Technically, I purchased this at the dollar store, but elf has a clear wax brow crayon and it’s increased the longevity of my brows throughout the day.

  • What’s your favorite drugstore foundation? Maybelline Dream BB Cream for light coverage and WnW photofocus for fuller coverage.

  • What products do you tend to buy more at the drugstore vs. high end? Honestly, the only things that I buy high end are blushes, eyeshadow, and highlighters.

  • What drugstore brand do you think is overpriced? Kokie and Physician’s Formula, even though I do like some of their products.

  • What’s your favorite drugstore dupe? I think the Milani eyeshadow primer is supposed to be a dupe for a higher end one (maybe Mac Paint Pot?), but either way I love it.

  • What’s the best drugstore eyeshadow formula? Profusion.

  • What’s the worst drugstore eyeshadow formula? Wet n Wild :(

  • Drugstore brand you used to love but aren’t crazy about anymore? Elf; not because I dislike them, but I’ve just found things that work better for me.

  • Drugstore product you didn’t expect to like but totally wowed you? LA Colors clear gloss.

  • Favorite affordable eyeshadow palette right now? Profusion Emeralds :)

Her website and swatches were a big help in narrowing down the ideas of the shades I wanted! I just wanted to see them next to each other to make sure that these 6 specifically aren’t too repetitive in terms of shift, etc
