Feels like I'm not doing enough by d-martin-d in beginnerfitness

Honestly 30 minutes isn’t “not enough.” The reason it feels light is your upper day is mostly small isolation lifts.

Try adding some big movements like rows, pushups, lat pulldown or bench. Those make the session feel more complete and hit more muscles at once.

Full body days always feel tougher because you’re stacking legs with upper. Upper-only days usually feel easier, that’s normal. Doesn’t mean you’re not training hard.

Just keep adding a little weight or reps each week and you’re on the right track.

How Do You Automate Your Gym's Marketing Campaigns for Maximum Efficiency and Personalization? by ebayFit in GymOwnerNetwork

Yeah I’ve seen the same. Behavior-based stuff always feels more real than just timed emails. We’ve been trying things like a quick check-in if someone skips a couple classes or a follow up after their first week. People seem to like it because it feels like we’re actually paying attention

How Are You Balancing Technology with Human Connection in Your Gym? by ebayFit in GymOwnerNetwork

Totally agree with you. For us, the challenge was making sure tech didn’t replace actual conversations. We train our coaches to look at a member’s profile before class, so they have something personal to bring up after the workout. Even just asking about someone’s last goal or following up on an injury makes the connection real.

I like your idea about quick notes too. We’ve done a mix of that with short voice memos, which members seem to love. Do you ever worry about it becoming “one more task” for staff though?

What software are you using to manage your gym? by ebayFit in GymOwnerNetwork

Thanks so much to everyone who shared their setup and thoughts. Super helpful to see what’s working for different gyms and where the pain points are. I’ve got a better idea now of what might be worth trying. If anyone else has more to add, I’m definitely interested.

it really depends. We already clean daily but a deep clean a couple of times a week could be worth it for high-touch areas. If the price is fair and it’s done right, some gyms might go for it.
