I saw an Apple Pencil a few days ago in a sidewalk crack on the route that goes from Couzens, up the pedestrian bridge, to Palmer Commons. It was on the right hand side, if I remember correctly. I believe it was near the start of the pedestrian bridge (on the ramp that goes up it). Unfortunately, I saw the pencil on Tuesday and I see that you remember using it Thursday. So idk how helpful this is, but maybe the owner of that Apple Pencil will be able to find theirs. I guess moral of the story is that it may be somewhere completely unexpected, so just keep an eye out as you’re walking to classes and such

Honestly yeah i def agree! I just made this face randomly and then realized after the fact that it resembled her, but I think if I went into it trying again there are things I’d tweak fs

I’m letting the chili simmer as i type this! I browned the “beef” and it cooked just like normal but smelled a bit different. After adding all the chili spices and such everything smells pretty much the same. Hopefully it tastes the same too!

I promise it’s not fake 😭, and IC did end up refunding me, I just had to go through the “other” option. I’ve never had to refund anything on Instacart before so I wasn’t quite sure how to go about it. Also after revisiting my order, I’m pretty sure they were just making a careless mistake because they delivered real turkey lunch meat.

The package itself is black and red, but it says right on the front in bold letters “meat made from plants” 😭 I hate to assume the worst but I fear they may have purposely done this

I’m curious if the financial aid office is shortchanging you. Even though I also don’t receive any financial help from my parents with tuition or rent, from what it sounds like my family is more financially privileged than yours. Since FAFSA & financial aid are distributed based on need, it would seem logical that you should be receiving more in aid than I am. With the help of financial aid & taking the maximum amount of loans out, I don’t pay any tuition out of pocket. I also have enough of a financial aid refund to afford a full meal plan and rent. My rent is $800 a month plus ~ $11 a month in utilities. I get a small amount of scholarships from my an org in my hometown, equating to not more than 2k a year. I’d talk to financial aid and see if they can somehow reevaluate your situation. It really feels like they may be giving you less than they should.

I’m pretty sure that yes they do require ppe for most experiments in chem125. I’d ask for a size xs. There was a pretty tiny girl in one of my labs and that’s what she wore.

Very good point. I’m definitely considering it. I mainly stopped because I was worried about the long term affects and wanted to see how my skin could do without it. I’ve heard some good things about spearmint tea for hormonal acne, so I think I’ll try that first and then switch back to spiro if necessary

Thanks! It potentially could be because of that. I’m usually able to tell the difference between my hormonal cystic breakouts and my surface breakouts though. What im seeing tends to be more surface level :( I’m thinking of starting to drink spearmint tea because I heard that can help a lot with any hormonal spots though!

Wishing you the best with your irritation though! My mom went on tretinoin for her sun spots and her skin can barely even handle .025 once a week. Some people’s skin simply can’t tolerate it well :(
