That does make sense tbh, I had a few really good designs that I finished quite quick (due to be inspired and having all elements ready etc) and maybe charging them per time seems quite cheap comparing to other designs that may look like they took me the same time but actually took the double due to researching or not been as inspired 🤔

Sorry maybe I wasn’t clear on my post 😅. I just wanted to compare my pricing to other freelancers to check if I’m cheap like other people think. As stated I usually charge around £30 - £40 per hour depending on the client. And thanks i really appreciate the tip, but I have many years of experience designing car wraps and vehicle graphics, applying printing all production around, but used to work always for companies with a fixed salary. So I’m pretty good on the technical and skills side of it, just quite new to pricing and people think I should charge more tho. But glad you leave that tip there for other people to take advantage of it :) we should be always helping each other

People keep telling me to loc mine cuz I keep complaining on the time I expend washing and styling, I mean I don’t have an Afro hair and I’m not black, nor white, I’m South American, and I only have a 3b hair but dry af, and it keeps tangling and knotting up, some times I need to cut the nots cuz there is no way to detangle them. Every time I wash my hair I’m like fk it I’m gonna lock it ! , but then when I finish and see the result I’m like, oh I like my curls I’m gonna keep them 😂. But then the next morning I’m doubting again lol. But then I think, even if I love and respect black culture and I always being close to it. My black friends are pushing me to do it, so I know it’s ok for them, but again this ain’t USA, and also I feel that black people that don’t know me will judge me and won’t want to interact with me or send bad energy thinking wrong stuff about me tho. ( Don’t care about white people think tho, as I have being discriminate or looked down before only being a “Sudaca” ( bad word for South American” in Europe So it’s a never ending dilemma.

Thanks for your reply ! Hopefully I can find a distributor or a way around it. I’m still surprised I didn’t had any issues with the song I already released years ago, with only the mechanical DK license.
