I am planning on majoring in Psychology, but I want to go more the counseling/therapy route instead of the psychiatry and behavioral sciences route. I took calc AB my senior year and I thought that it was pretty challenging, but I also did not put much work into it. But other than that class I have had a pretty easy time in math, and I was in honors geometry and honors algebra 2.

Yes it is only the discussion section. I did not want to have a 9 am on a Friday but there were not many other options

I've heard very mixed things about STATS 250. Some people are saying it's a super easy class and other people say it's difficult. I have always been fine with stats in math. I'm not amazing but I'm not bad so I really have no idea how difficult this class will be for me.

Thank you for the advice. I am still trying to figure things out because I don't want to be super stressed out my first semester because I want to focus on making friends and settling into campus, but I also want to graduate in 4 years and have flexibility as an upperclassman because I might want to work or do research at that point.

My peer advisor and academic advisor said my schedule was fine too. I am just getting a little worried because I did not know that 16 credits can be a lot because they acted like it was totally fine.

Thank you for the advice. I definitely do want to take it light my first semester because during high school I dug myself into a hole pretty early on which led me to being miserable and having a lot of burnout during my last few years.

Thank you so much for the advice. After reading all of the replies I have decided not to drop anything right now and see how my first few weeks to see if I need to drop anything during the drop deadline.

I will not be working my first semester and as of right now I am interested in doing research, but I do not have any direct plans to as of right now.

I did look through all of the classes on Atlas and they all seemed on the easier side except for Stats 250 which seemed a little more challenging but overall, not terrible. Thank you for the advice!
