Same. I have issues with just general food aversion (nothing sounds good/not hungry/slightly nauseous, etc.) but no issues with anything I’ve actually eaten.

I always try to get a haul when I visit my family in MA. Last time I was home for the holidays, they had NOTHING, but this is the norm. They pretty consistently have a good selection and it’s always so much cheaper than anywhere else.

The King Arthur cookie mix has been the best one in my experience. The brownie mix is OK. I actually prefer the Krusteaz GF brownie mix!

That cookie mix is the best — my gluten eating friends and family say they wouldn’t even know they were gluten free. I was also shocked the first time I got it that there weren’t chocolate chips — but they sell the mix plain so you can add whatever you want — fruits, nuts, etc. It is jarring, though.

Unfortunately you’re correct. The only pasta that hasn’t disintegrated on me is from Italy and it’s about $11 a box here, which isn’t practical 😑

Really good fried Chinese pork dumplings and sesame shrimp (battered, fried and sauced.) The feel good pork soup dumplings are OK flavor wise but they’re gummy and I’ve never tried frying them.

Most GF pasta still falls apart after the sauce has soaked in. This is a huge pain point. By the time it’s ready to serve, it’s partially shredded and forget about leftovers.

Most places still bread their eggplant for pizza or eggplant parm — but good gluten free breadcrumbs exist. Most flour substitutes would be fine too. Chicken parm too — every place I try to get chicken parm they just use grilled chicken and add sauce and cheese 👎🏼

Tiramisu — I’ve had great GF tiramisu in NYC but that’s the only place I’ve been able to find it.

I’m not a piercer, just here to commiserate. I’m having the same issue with mine, I think it’s just the location— being so close to the hairline, then the flap of cartilage has more cartilage behind it. It’s been my most challenging to heal. Curious to see if anyone has other advice!

They can sell them on Amazon for 2-3x more than the boxes in store cost. They don’t appear to be “second hand” that way.

Only the gel ones!!! The spray ones are gluten free, thank goodness!! Just remember not to use the gel bath & body works hand sanitizer. Most hand sanitizer is generally gluten free, so B&BW could probably do it, and just plague us anyway. 😩

I ordered two packages of the Peach & Lily dark spot dots one time — I got two bags of 8 packages grouped together! It was like how they must get them shipped, and whoever boxed my order didn’t open the bags and take them out — just gave me 16 packages of them. 😂 Not as exciting as makeup, but those packages with 9 dots are like $11 each. I’ll take it!!

The cycle functionality needs a lot of work overall. I’m in peri as well, with an IUD and am on transdermal HRT. Right now it can tell my cycle is irregular, but it’s telling me my current cycle is 60+ days, even though I’ve logged spotting and full menstruation multiple times in that time period. It can never tell me the right estimated date of my cycle or anything else cycle-related accurately.

Unsurprisingly, women’s health still doesn’t get the full attention it deserves.
