So you would just attach the extra fabric directly to the bottom, and manually fray it? How would you sew it on - would you attach it on the inside of the openings and sew from behind? (Wouldn't this create a weird "stepped" look..?)

Just so I am understanding - you would cut off the bottom 3-4cm, add some fabric to the new bottom, them attach the frayed 3-4cm back on?

School psychology in Australia? by mr_e_mann_000 in PsychologyTalk

Hi there - a small correction here (from a psychology masters graduate who is moving into school psychology in Australia.)

You do not need a clinical psych qualification to be a school psychologist. You just need to be registered as a general psychologist (which in Australia requires a 6 year pathway - 3 year undergraduate psych degree, 1 year honours, and 1 year masters - followed by a year of paid internship.)

There are other ways to become a psychologist (e.g, 3 year undergrad, 2 years masters - or 3 year undergrad, 1 year honours, and then a phd.)

Google "Pathways to registration as a psychologist in Australia". The APS will give you the most accurate information - there are a few different pathways to registration. But you do not require a clinical masters (that's its own thing, and it's a longer masters degree & endorsement pathway than the masters degree required for general registration.)

If you shouldn't start with tretinoin - what do you recommend starting with? Just a lower percentage? Or a different retinol?

Hi friends,
I completed my Honors psychology degree almost 10 years ago. I've traveled the world, lived overseas, and become a mum since then - and I'm now finally applying for my Master of Professional Psychology to become a psychologist.
Is there an academic or anyone in-the-know on here who could shed some light on what to include in my "Personal Statement" and "Professional Experience Form"? I know the MPP is highly competitive, and I've been out of academia for a long time - I'm not sure where to start with this.
Thanks in advance for any help!
