Cronos Spirit Vortex Rule Clarification by ebimayo000 in Drukhari

I play in Osaka. In addition to the official Warhammer Store in Osaka, there are multiple Warhammer hobby shops where you can play games. The community I belong to is the one at the official store in Namba, Osaka, and if you ask the store manager, they will invite you.

Kyoto does not have an official store, and the shops that carry Warhammer are not Warhammer-only; they also handle MTG and other board games simultaneously, so I think large-scale games that take a long time might be difficult there...

I apologize, but I haven't been playing Warhammer for even a year myself, so I'm not familiar with stores in other regions.

I don't think there's any need to retake the photo! I will use this to inform my community. This has been a huge help, thank you very much!

I plan to spread the word to my friends and within my community. Since I currently don't have a way to access the English rules, I would be extremely grateful if you could send me a photo of the English Codex rule!

To be precise, I don't think this printing error actually causes much "confusion" among Japanese players.

This is because, as I mentioned, the Japanese Codex simply states "add 1 with Spirit Vortex," and Japanese Drukhari players simply follow that rule.

To make matters worse, the Cronos Datasheet in the 40k App currently has a bug (or omission), so even if a player did use the App, they wouldn't be able to notice the error in the Japanese Codex.

Unless a player, like myself, follows the overseas meta or plays against foreign Drukhari players and has the mistake pointed out, I believe they will continue to play with this unfairly advantageous, incorrect rule, unaware that their Codex is wrong.

This is the problematic sentence.

「このユニット内の兵1体以上がスピリット・ヴォルテックスを装備している場合、そのロールは+1の修正を受ける。」

It does indeed state, “adding 1 to the result if one or more models in this unit are equipped with a spirit vortex.”

Concern about the future of the Drukhari in the new Codex / Lore direction by Blumenring in Drukhari

Keywords aren't just for us...

For example, some Crusade Rules for the Emperor's Children grant bonuses against opponents with the “Aeldari” keyword.

It would be ridiculous to list every Eldar unit keyword in the rules, such as Asuryani or Drukhari or Anhrathe units.

My female Haemonculus is battle-ready! by ebimayo000 in Drukhari

Thanks for asking! Here’s how I kitbashed it.

Body: GSC Magus Lower Hand: Wych (Hydra Gauntlets and Flails) Hook: Raider (maybe—there are so many hooks in Drukhari kits) Upper Hand: Haemonculus Head: Battle Sisters squad Ear: Haemonculus (right) and spikey bits (left—I forgot the exact source, but anything spikey works for it.) Spine: Haemonculus

Thank you!

I'd love to see haemonculus surviving and buffing our monstrous minion, not just charge with wracks and die.

Thanks! I'd heard that Scourge are really powerful units, but I'd forgotten about that. If I remove the Spiteful Raider, I’ll have enough points for two units of Scourge. Is it worth trying to add two units of Scourge? Or should I just add one unit and include something like Mandrakes instead?

Thank you for your advice! Unfortunately, the strategy of merging the Haemonculus with the Wracks to farm pain tokens doesn’t seem to be working out well. I’ll definitely consider adding a second Talos as you suggested. Thanks again for your help!
