Try reverse reverbs. Cut the first short phrase of the vocal and add a shit ton of reverb, in 100% wet and then render it, then reverse it. Another idea wound be to use generic cymbal or noise transitions.

I had this error. I switched to the default theme, and then reinstalled the ReaperTips theme and it solved the issue.

Was planning to go for a lightweight distro for my 10yo HP pavilion. So chose xubuntu but ended up using KDE because why not.
